Adriano Viganò advises and represents entrepreneurs, companies and individuals in all areas of corporate, commercial and contract law, including company takeovers, succession planning, strategic planning, etc. He also represents clients in debt collection and bankruptcy proceedings. He also represents clients in debt enforcement and bankruptcy proceedings, including as a representative of leasing companies and banks on the creditors' committee of SAirGroup ("Swissair"). Adriano Viganò acts in an advisory and litigation capacity before ordinary courts and arbitration tribunals and as an arbitrator. He also sits on various boards of directors and boards of trustees.

Publications
Career

Adriano Viganò received his doctorate from the University of Zurich in 1985. He subsequently studied, among other places, at the Max Planck Institute in Munich and at UNESCO in Paris. His dissertation “Copyright and Developing Countries” was completed during research conducted at the Yonsei University and the Seoul National University, both in Seoul, South Korea, in 1986. He received his doctorate in 1989. Between 1989 and 1992 Adriano Viganò was Managing Director of Kino-Theater AG, the largest cinema organization in Switzerland. In 1992 he joined Walt Disney Switzerland as Managing Director and Vice President. He was subsequently promoted to Vice President at The Walt Disney Company, Los Angeles, California, heading the international film marketing division. In 1996 the Viganò family returned to Switzerland.

In 1996 and 1997 Adriano Viganò was a member of the legal staff at the Horgen District Court. In 1998 he joined a law firm as a partner. In January 2000 he established his own law firm in Zurich.
